Newgrounds' approach to verifying age is interesting and transparent.
just since I randomly saw this - basically we choose these values based on how much variety we feel the event has (i.e., Balatro has some randomness in what the options are). The Boxes event has a lot of contextual uses depending on what's in your deck so that also is more 'replayable'.

We looked into this a bit and it seems like our server connection was disrupted for a short time and anyone who submitted in that window just had it get lost. It hasn't happened again but keeping an eye on it!
