SNR G206.9+02.3, The Helmut Kohl Nebula - AstroBin
I could not find a name for this one, so I decided to call it βHelmut Kohlβ because its shape reminds me of the former German chancellor.
π This is the Super Nova Remnant (SNR) G206.9+2.3. The image was taken from Spain with narrowband filters (Ha and OIII). I couldn't find a nice name for it, so I call it "The Helmut Kohl Nebula". Germans will understand.
