Panel 2- Cin sits at his desk, gripping his wrist in pain. TEXT: "For plenty of people, making full (but often stripped-back, in comparison to their usual work) pieces can be helpful. But when I tried it... I quickly grew frustrated." CIN: "ow... I barely drew anything good and my hand hurts!" PANEL 3 - A dark spiral leaks out from a timer, representing its incessant ticking as time presses on. TEXT: "What a lot of these are are 'timed drawings'. Which are all well and good... If you understand the purpose of them. The issue was, by pushing myself to make something 'good', I only ended up hurting myself." PANEL 4: A person prepares to go on a run. They stretch, check their shoes, and run out the door--but Cin only sees them once they're outside, and not while they're preparing. TEXT: "Think about it like a morning run. Before a person can run, they need to put on their running shoes and do a few stretches first. But when you go outside and see your neighbor jogging along, you don't see that prep. I had been looking at those timed drawings, those lovely warmup pieces, and assuming they were the beginning of the process... Rather than the end." CIN: "Incredible!"
