Sadly her replacement hasnβt got much going for himself either.

Ha Ha! rump just fired Kristi Noem...good riddance to that screeching harpy!
Finished reading Chris Steinβs memoir Under a Rock. Interesting to read about the ups and downs of Blondie, his life outside of the group and his awful addiction to many different drugs. What a life heβs led.
Iβm a bit sad to see Mike Richardson being ousted from his role at Dark Horse. I worked with him on a few books and was always grateful he let a young kid like me do the lettering for one of his creations, The Mask, which was so much fun to work on.
Oh, hey, I got to use my own personal font on a short story today and that's always a good thing. ;)
Yes, I do draw also, mostly for myself. I went to an art school for comics and once out of it found that lettering was an easy way to break into the industry and have stuck with it.
I had the honor of lettering a Tom King, Jim Lee, Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair edits by Marie Javins story for the upcoming Supes/Spidey team-up book! Gambit shows up which reminded me I worked on his 1st appearnce at Marvel long ago. Now I can quit comics because it's all gone full circle. ;)
Youβve been reading too many comic books. A scene from The Mob, 1951.

From last Saturday to this Saturday I've lettered 120 pages...now this is all I see when close my eyes...time for a break!
In the U.S. freelancers can't have a union. They can have a guild but not a union and the two are very different.
Some of my hand lettering from the Jim Lee X-Men Artifact Edition. Not my photos by the way but from a video I found online. It'd be nice if letterers got comp copies of artist's editions if their work is featured...but, nope.
Nine days ago rump had his first ever board off peace meetingβ¦last night he and Israel declared war on Iran. Talk about a confused madman.
Donβt get me wrong though, itβs an excellent documentary.
So far, this is my favorite moment in the Paul McCartney documentary Man on the RunβNick Loweβs commentary on Paul doing a version of Mary had a little lamb. ;)
rump getting ready for one of his long-winded, rambling speeches...
Nice! Your wife has greaty taste! ;)
I just watched a little or rump's state of the union and he sounds like a drunk man shouting gibberish at his local bar to no one before he stumbles home to sleep it off and spout the same old crap the next day.
R.I.P., Robert Carradine. Here he is in a very memorable scene from Martin Scorsese's Mean Streets where he shoots a character portrayed by his brother David Carradine and a crazy fight ensues.
I have to letter something today that includes a lot of THWIPPs...which is a pretty good thing I think.
At times I forget I have dual citizenship which I had done last year. I haven't really done anything with it but it's good to know I have it considering things these days.
You know what the world needs right now? More people like Alysa Liuβ¦sheβs great!!

Please enjoy this original Torpedo drawing by Jordi Bernet I bought from a German art dealer a few years ago.
Looking at a copy of Wolverine #90 I hand lettered and I was reminded of how much work it was to letter because of the multiple pullouts. None of the lettering was done on the actual art but on vellum overlays over taped together xeroxes and then sent to Marvel where it was pasted up onto the art.
Yes, that works and is more of an English way of pronouncing it. The French love to draw out the Sβs so Brosss-OH.
Oh, I'm pretty sure I've mispronounced your last name too! ;)
Bross-oh NOT Brew-so...which drives me crazy!! Yes, my last name does NOT rhyme with Clouseau.
