To everyone involved in K-12 education: I see you & wish I could give you all a giant hug. I have to settle on giving my First Born a hug. After weathering school shooters and drills, they’ve had to add ICE drills and a plan on what to do if ICE grabs children from school. You are heroes already.
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
