And I get to do the initial fermentation in our shed, as spring has sprung, and it's warm enough! Saving my long suffering family from the rather pungent aroma of fermentation!

It's a relatively common experience for me, too. Particularly racists, homophobes, hate filled people. Interesting conversations, shared experiences, they get comfortable, decide to tell me immigrants eat pets or societal collapse will happen coz everyone is gay now! They are shocked I don't agree!
