KC Comets on Prime tonight in Tacoma if anyone is interested.
When youβre waiting for your DoorDash and the driver pulls up but itβs for the house across the street.
View from my front porch. 3 two story houses across the street. A bird feeder hanging from the porch valance, and ominous thunderclouds rolling in. But they arenβt here yet!
One of the absolute best parts of working from home is clocking out for lunch, letting the dogs out in the back yard and sitting on the front porch with a sandwich and a drink and watching the clouds roll by.
Iβm sorry youβve got to deal with this but am grateful to know you care enough to catch this. Youβre a GD superhero in my book and Iβm sure to many of your patients as well, whether they know it or not.
No worries. I totally got the reference π
Good news: my plumber from when I managed an Applebees is now in charge of homeland security and that is one of the least crazy things about the current administration so thatβs fun for all of us *For everyone thinking this is satire: I get it. We all joke so much here. π But, alas, Iβm serious. I managed restaurants for nearly 20 years before becoming an author and he was, indeed, a plumber in Oklahoma when I ran an Applebees there. The company was called Mullin Plumbing. It appears he stepped down and handed over the company when he got into politics. *and my final note - Iβm not disparaging plumbers here. I come from a VERY blue collar family. My mother managed a Taco Bell and my dad was a contractor. I have a ton of relatives who went to trade school. My point is that I do not wish for any of them to be in charge of homeland security.

I feel this picture is giving off Middle Earth vibes.
Nope. Legit blanked on it. And Rex and Ryan said something about a B game earlier today so thought thatβs where they were at π
Totally forgot about the WBC. This lineup make way more sense now.
This game is ridiculous π #Royals
I mean Iβm pleased the game is on but no Bobby, no Vinny, no Cags and no Salvy? LAAAAME.

This used to be a proper country.
My body waits until nighttime and then jumps my circadian rhythm and beats the shit out of it. Now itβs almost midnight, Iβm wide awake and starving.
Wish I could do that with my job. Some of the things people post in the Teams channelsβ¦.
Picture of two hands each holding a Shamrock shake in a car.
Running errands and getting out traditional Shamrock Shake today with the kiddo!
I donβt know what any of this means but it doesnβt sound fun and it sucks you gotta deal with this BS.
This allows Veach the ability to move up if Love gets by the Titans, or move down and get more draft capital if he doesnβt. Either way I donβt see KC staying at 9.
Iβm gonna guess we arenβt picking at 9 when itβs all said and done. If Love gets by the Titans I think Veach pushes to move up and get him. If he does go at 4, I expect the Chiefs to move down and accumulate more draft capital for either this year or next.
If Love doesnβt go to the Titans Veach is definitely gonna take a shot at moving up to 5 or 6.
To be fair, Iβve built up a really great relationship with all the agents on my team, and if I told them I had to split to go pee theyβd be fine with it. Still, I hate cutting things off, even if itβs just βnon-workβ related stuff because often thatβs the most important stuff to them.
When your Teams meeting with your agent is running long and you have to pee, but you want them to feel valued and heard so you canβt just cut them off.

Hi folks, these days, when someone is having a health issue, it's referred to as an "opportunity," so let's go with that - I'm having one of those. It's also called a type of cancer that's "treatable" not "curable." I apologize if that's a shock - it was to me too. The good news is, I'm not gonna go into any more detail. I'm posting this, because professionally, a few things will have to change - appearances and cons and work in general need to take back seat to treatment. My plan is to get as well as I possibly can over the summer so that I can tour with my new movie Ernie & Emma this fall. There are several cons this year summer that I have to cancel. Big regrets on my part. Treatment needs and professional obligations don't always go hand-in-hand. That's about it. I'm not trying enlist sympathy-or advice-just want to get ahead of this information in case false information gets out (which it will). Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch and I have great support, so I expect to be around a while. As always, you're the greatest fans in the world and Thope to see you soon! Much love, Bruce Campbell
I hate this timeline.
I spent considerable amounts of time on both sides of the state growing up. We actually moved back to KC (Independence) summer of 85 because my mom remarried. That was a fun World Series in our house π
This reminds me of the time I thought I was being smart when I bought a bag of Tyson chicken strips from HyVee instead of DoorDash
