Good news: my plumber from when I managed an Applebees is now in charge of homeland security and that is one of the least crazy things about the current administration so that’s fun for all of us *For everyone thinking this is satire: I get it. We all joke so much here. 😂 But, alas, I’m serious. I managed restaurants for nearly 20 years before becoming an author and he was, indeed, a plumber in Oklahoma when I ran an Applebees there. The company was called Mullin Plumbing. It appears he stepped down and handed over the company when he got into politics. *and my final note - I’m not disparaging plumbers here. I come from a VERY blue collar family. My mother managed a Taco Bell and my dad was a contractor. I have a ton of relatives who went to trade school. My point is that I do not wish for any of them to be in charge of homeland security.

I don’t know what any of this means but it doesn’t sound fun and it sucks you gotta deal with this BS.

This allows Veach the ability to move up if Love gets by the Titans, or move down and get more draft capital if he doesn’t. Either way I don’t see KC staying at 9.

I’m gonna guess we aren’t picking at 9 when it’s all said and done. If Love gets by the Titans I think Veach pushes to move up and get him. If he does go at 4, I expect the Chiefs to move down and accumulate more draft capital for either this year or next.

If Love doesn’t go to the Titans Veach is definitely gonna take a shot at moving up to 5 or 6.

To be fair, I’ve built up a really great relationship with all the agents on my team, and if I told them I had to split to go pee they’d be fine with it. Still, I hate cutting things off, even if it’s just “non-work” related stuff because often that’s the most important stuff to them.

Hi folks, these days, when someone is having a health issue, it's referred to as an "opportunity," so let's go with that - I'm having one of those. It's also called a type of cancer that's "treatable" not "curable." I apologize if that's a shock - it was to me too. The good news is, I'm not gonna go into any more detail. I'm posting this, because professionally, a few things will have to change - appearances and cons and work in general need to take back seat to treatment. My plan is to get as well as I possibly can over the summer so that I can tour with my new movie Ernie & Emma this fall. There are several cons this year summer that I have to cancel. Big regrets on my part. Treatment needs and professional obligations don't always go hand-in-hand. That's about it. I'm not trying enlist sympathy-or advice-just want to get ahead of this information in case false information gets out (which it will). Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch and I have great support, so I expect to be around a while. As always, you're the greatest fans in the world and Thope to see you soon!
