I love the movies, though I agree that they are very different. No one has truly captured his vibe in adaptation.
Mignola is a huge influence for me, one of those artists who, when I saw their work for the first time, I thought, "Hey, this is for me." Your stuff is reminiscent of his, which is why I'm such a fan.
seeing Mignola painted pieces like this, just blow my mind! A major show of his, b&w inks & these painted pieces, would be incredible - a "bucket-list" thing for me

I released two new projects today on my itch. One is a Hobo Railcar for "In the Light of a Setting Sun" by @sivads-sanctum.bsky.social and the other is the start of a bigger project, designing 1 card a week for 52 weeks (or until I have a standard deck of cards.) noseatbelts.itch.io

Tunnels and Trolls called it’s “legally distinct from Tolkien” hobbits hobbs instead of halflings, and I think they were right to do so.
A mark of how much of a cold I'm getting is that I just considered the phrase "Teletubby Bastionland" and it not only made sense but felt like something I could and should write.
In 2025 I made 9 dungeons/adventures (started 7 others), 4 (and a few unreleased) Cairn Backgrounds, completed Mörktober, and designed 2 games (one of which was published). This is my first year truly writing and designing for RPGs, they aren’t perfect, but I did that. I want to do it again in 2026.
