sometimes I think about all the uranium glass and glazed pottery I have and laugh at how I probably shouldn’t 🤷♀️

I tried that new highly addictive game on my phone (I ❤️ hue) and I had to cut myself off cause it’s yah highly addictive for people like me who would happily do color theory exercises until I dropped dead
sometimes it seems like “buildable, blendable” is just a way to take up soooooooo much more time and product omf.
someday you guys are gonna get tired of blending
they discontinued my yogurt, sold the cows and closed up shop. they discontinued my german rubber clogs!
they also stopped making the hippy perfume I formulated in the 90s, cause they retired. you’d think since I made it I could make more but I can only come close, cause ingredients. my condolences
went thru old sac
rode a float in the jankiest mardi gras parade. it is lucky when you get to give people a little happiness by throwing junk at them. we all need a lil happiness.
tried to paint my nails in a fun way.
I tried for Ho nails and I got no no nails
max rules
they are the coolest, smartest, best moths. I miss seeing them come thru en masse in the desert (cause I moved )
there’s so many knockoffs on there it is nuts! have you seen all those listings that show incredible antique pieces and then the listing says it’s in india and will be made for you when you order but that the price listed (hella cheap) isnt the real price, but no info on real price? Im so intrigued
these potatoes are $2 lb here but I just looked em up online and they are disastrously expensive other places? I am not feeding my lil dog $15 lb sweet potatoes I assure u.
supplements that make your dog/cat poops bright purple or blue or green vs the poopcolors. whew such sicko idea
my dog loves japanese sweet potatoes so I’ve been giving him the okinawa ones that are purple on the inside. the technicolor purple poops are a little shocking but as far as dog poop goes, it’s really quite festive.
the belarusian potato pancakes? draniki? heck yah, let’s get those pancakes
I’ve bought 9k antique stuff and it looks fine tho so do what works of course lol. sometimes cheap price is what im looking for
the uk/belgian selection is way better anyhow. my advice is to get the highest carat gold you can. 18 is perfect. the brits made a wide range of carats and this is a reminder that 9k is only 37.5% gold so basically sort of garbage but you pay so much for it you might as well pay for actual gold.
this is depressing and never happened when actual people were paid a fair wage to do the work
great time to be a art history nerd actually cause everything is either stupid expensive (and nobody buying) or practically free cause it’s listed like a moron would describe it
like knowledge is dead over there rn. laziness and total bullshit rule. But since they do not know what their shit is, if you do... there are deals. all they would have to do is literally look up what the silversmiths mark IS and there are a few identical things listed already by people with a brain
eBay report: ai listings increasing so it’s the golden age of bullshit listings and description. It’s so bad. these dipshits have no idea what they are selling. dude had a bracelet listed for $3,000, I wrote to ask some q’s, few days later offers it to me for $150. that’s not economics it’s stupid
wonder if any of them repeat? from what I can see it seems like no?
I burned a little piece of mine that seemed like it was dry and I loved the scent and it actually burned slow and even!
I think the homemade incense is a hit. getting vids from my homies of their incense burning with some windham hill playing in the background
update : laha is ground up bark. makko has two k’s and is also bark. surely we in the USA have access to bark that’s mucilaginous…
had to buy the ‘burning powder’ which in this case was a ground up nepalese plant called laha. no laha, not gonna burn (you can use a japanese plant called mako too)
I love the instructions we folllowed at incensemaking.com now I gotta rotate the sticks for days until they are dry. made brutalist looking cones too.
backyard black sage, aleppo pine resin from the dog park, frankincense (ground up and essential oil). rolled the finished sticks in palo santo dust
I bought a fair amount of raw materials but the coolest stuff was herbs I grew and tree sap I gathered and aged for a few years. this is why you should gather nice sap when you see it! put it in a jar!
Hand holding up pestle above a Mortar showing sticky copal resin that isn’t grinding up well
Table full of incense making supplies and tools. Chaos
A small gift box with assorted short lengths of incense sticks rolled in frankincense & palo santo dust. They need several days to dry.
first attempt at making incense with my homies.
my house smells crazier than usual
it’s allliiiveee!
I think my neighbors entire house is a mushroom
