Naturally Narrow

My day is definitely made better by plenty of loud music (headphones on as I am nice). Today I have had a mix of Techno, trance, hard bounce and some old school rave.

You'd need this after a pot of Shitto hot pepper sauce.

After a lovely sunny morning it is really clouding over now. Looked up as I thought it was getting dark. Sky is full of big grey clouds.

Current song has mentioned He has Alice, Tina, Mary Jane and also Molly and Charli. Don't think he is singing about his many girlfriends.

Got a Maddix set on. Need it to drown out all the sounds of people getting on with their chores. Soon as the sun comes out everyone is getting on with their outdoor chores.

I follow a guy on insta who has been doing up a boat. He is doing a fab job. He is also very handy, is not living on it and has a workshop. We need new flooring, but no idea how we will shuffle stuff around and continue to live and work aboard whilst doing it.

That will make quite the project for someone. Saying that I think unless you get brand spanking new (and even then) there are always boat jobs that need doing.

Looking at BBQs now the days are getting longer and dare I whisper it the weather is getting better I am thinking about outdoor cooking.

Has that boat opposite you been abandoned. It feels like it has been there for ages. So nice to see the sun after the bleugh of yesterday. Hopefully refill our batteries as we'd gone a bit low.

Yes. I did not mind it in the valley when we were in Yorkshire as I knew it would be gone well before lunch. Maybe lurk about round the tops of the trees for a bit. But it was not seemingly never ending.

Living mostly out of the freezer this week. I need to make space so I can make a batch of my world famous tomato sauce.

I mostly hate it, I think 10+ years of living in the Fens does it. Flat land when the mist comes down you don't see the horizon for days. Not so bad on the water as it seems to burn off pretty fast.

There really are some strange people out there, some women going on about turning her wi-fi off at night or it might disturb her sleep with woo woo nonsense. Same person was also saying you can treat bronchitis with woo woo juice. I use the word woo woo as I do not want add weight to the thing.

Play store just put an ad for temu in my feed. Told them I did not want to see it as I will never buy any of their crap and I find them more offensive than when my dog has the trots and the smell makes me gag. Not that it will do any good, but it wastes a few minutes of someones time.

Dogs are so weird.

Laughing as Jess rarely reacts to tv barking. She hates squeaky toy noises though.

OMG! If they do Hawksmoor beef... We had one of their at home boxes during lockdown. The meat and the wine and the cocktail were all fabulous. We set off our smoke detector as they advised a really hard sear. I think I would cook it outside if we got it again.

She sometimes lunges when she sees another dog. Not ideal when you are on a slim pontoon with nothing to hole on to. Luckily most of the time she lies down on sight of another dog. Not out of good manners, it is to fool them into approaching.

I think my boaty neighbour is trying to wear a hole in the pontoon, for the last 20 minutes he has been stomping up and down.

So glad that the wee kitty did not approach Jess. It froze in fear. I think Jess assumed it was not real as it was not moving when she noticed it. Nature is really waking up, the ducks are back pecking the side of the boat.
