Bumping this because I was walking down memory lane and forgot about ol' Ron

Guy in one of the first few rows of the most violent hockey games I've ever seen, cheering for the Sabres, is wearing an eS hoodie and brown pants.
Voltron, always
This week, @vadiparty.bsky.social and @ibrowning.bsky.social report on the people, happenings, and wheelbases of Slow Impact, I report on some things I saw on television, an AMAZING opossum video, and more.

I hit the streets of Tempe during Slow Impact to get a little slice of the weekend (and annoy people with questions about their wheelbase) for Simple Magic:

I had not considered a hemp necklace resurgence but now that you mention it, the vibes do seem imminent.
Finn Pope: two minute minor for skating to The Cure in an Antihero flick. Sorry, but those are the rules.
Got the make, like, two tries later
Hughes still playing after having two teeth cracked β important not to say that professional team sports are skateboarding, and yet
What an insane thing to say, jeez
Unreal how much faster this game is than anything in the NHL, and it's maybe less fun?

I talked to TJ Rogers about going through chemo in the midst of a career as a pro skater, and what to post, in the latest Rules of Skateboarding.
Also worth mentioning that we got day-one Rules artist @cosmestudio back on the header!

I've lived in New York for around twelve years and have never had to pull an "I'm walkin' here". Today I hit the back of a Lyft driver who was going to back into me, yelled at another car trying to barge the crosswalk I was using, yelled at tourists in SoHo who were and blocking the sidewalk, etc.
There's a quiet poetry in writing something that says nothing!
I work in the word salad processing plant, and am sometimes in awe of the flourishes of text that look like entire paragraphs and are entirely hollow. It's like those Street League courses where they pour concrete over foam.
The only time this type of thing has actually been good, unfortunately, went to one of the worst teams in sports. The little tear between the hurricane warning flags is an outline of North Carolina. It's like the FedEx arrow, except it's inexorably tied to a kook named Rod.
I looked at that summer workshop at Northwestern that you posted about last year, and had to talk to my shrink about it for two sessions.
It's a good one this week!
From the same people that brought you the smash hit "Smoking a Little Weed in the Bathroom While the Shower is Warming Up and the Fan is On"
A combo of dyslexia and outrage made me miss the names the first time. Shoutout to alt text for letting me know that it can always get worse.
I know the one.

Ottawa and Mississauga are only 260 miles apart.
I see you!!
Tom rips; the Statue edits are always super entertaining, even if youβve only skated DC once and got a little too stoned before having your board shoot into a fountain by the National Archive
The last Vans skateboarding employee setting up a multi-tiered seafood tower (carved from a massive block of ice) on the first step of Wallenberg. Currenβs going for sw tre over, and then this guy will hand over a bottle of β08 Etienne Calsac on to saber on the rollaway. Vans paid to close school.
