I've mounted two pair of wings to the foam belt. I still have some decorating to do, paint, and three more pair of wings to attach to the skirt.
Come see my OC Butterfly Fairy Cosplay at Elko Pop Con!
Been a while since I posted here! Look at my wing placement on my original character butterfly fairy #cosplay !
Almost done painting these butterfly wing bases, next to cover them in cellophane, add some wire, then flocked foam bits! Butterfly fairy OC cosplay getting closer! #cosplay
I've prototyped a hammer and cut tons of hammer parts. I'm hosting another foam prop painting workshop at Elko Pop Con!

a few sponsored paid readings, judging our state's Poetry Out Loud competition (nationals were yesterday!)...
...and poetry spreading from his brain like warm sweet oil collected and being published soon.
Universe might ebb again. That sucks. But it'll flow too. Can't flow without the ebb.
My husband is a well published poet. He went through a bout with writer's block for a couple years. He was frustrated, said last year he'd probably not publish again.
But, the universe ebbs and flows and he got flow this year. State poet fellow, invited poetry workshop guesting ops, โฌ๏ธ
You just...rolled through that? Ack!
To answer:
I didn't think about it. I started up my @Dremel with flexshaft and got to brr-brr-n.
What I should have done beforehand WAS PUT MY LONG HAIR BACK IN A SCRUNCHY.
I managed to untangle most of it but I did lose about four inches in length.
I now keep a scrunchy w/the Dremel.
Nothing is quite as acutely painful as hurting the tip of your finger. My eyes are watering....
While I sit and have a rest from deep cleaning my work area....
Hey #coslayers ?
What is your weirdest cosplay injury?
Hoping to be done enough to display in August!
Thank you!
I'm delighted with these defined swallowtail curves! I used a basting spray to place 2mm foam shapes onto two layers of black faux suede. Turned right side out, ironed, then top stitched! Skirt allll floofy!
Next, making and attaching butterfly wings.

I made a paneled skirt for my original character butterfly fairy cosplay. So much floofiness. You can barely see where I'll be anchoring wings between the panels. Flounces and ruffles almost done! One more row.

When I plugged it in, she purred. I'll clean it. It's missing It's bobbin case but that's easily replaced.
I bought more art.
Buahahaha!
I bought art.
Five people have already shown me this and it's not even 10AM! I think I'm being commanded to build this.
Wanna know why? I built this one back in 2017.
Might as well advertise my first coloring book publication! It's also how I'm learning video editing. My editing might just be crap....but the book sure isn't!
