two baby squirrels in my hands! they were so sleepy and immediately tried burrowing into my hand, which the one on the right appears to be doing. the left one is curled up with its tail by its face, eyes half closed

squirrel in my hand looking around. he's climbing up on my thumb a little and looking to the right. they're both small enough to fit right in my hand. in all pictures im wearing a grey and white striped sweater and I'm holding them close to my body so they don't fall. both squirrels are small, brown, presumably Eastern Grey squirrels, unsure of fhe age. I'll say in the alt text down here: they were found in a parking lot and, luckily, the patient i had and their family has fostered/rehabbed squirrels before so they took these two little guys in. they were found the day of their appointment so the mom kept them in a little box with blankets so she could keep an eye on them while theyre at therapy.
