Ep. 1 did have good fun - pod racing, strange alien species, Darth Maul. Despite it flaws, I think it is in many ways the blueprint of what a Star Wars movie should have.
I think that ep. 2-3 are so unmemorable due to the backlash from fans finding ep. 1 "unserious" and "disrespecting the lore".
