Putting aside a solid couple of hours to go through everybody's #bandcampfriday new releases and recommends.
I've got a remix of the amazing Dadhaus in my Alphabox guise on this cracking new compilation in aid of @radiowaters.bsky.social today though.

I like that phrase a lot as well. Nails it. The notification thing became especially egregrious. Bsky still feels relevant to me and not algorithmic. But I curate it carefully.
Loving this first episode of @trevlad.bsky.social 's Chord Confessions. Lovely stories, lovely music.

That was a tune, fair play.
There is only one antidote to Ultra-Processed Creative Content (UPCC should totally be a thing btw), and that is straight up human effort, ingenuity and passion. Which is Sam all over really. Chalking this one up as a massive win for the cause.
Absolute scenes.
I expect that most of the world will see Sam as a novelty, but I'm still super happy to both see him get the platform, and also for the UK to just do *something* actually creative for once and not just churn out another bland Syco style act.
This new Angus MacRae album is so up my street I could park on it.

Just read a post asking to use the GPU for faster audio rendering, and putting aside the obvious why of it, it really speaks to the lack of patience that (mostly younger) new creators seem to have with the creative process.
Ignore the rush to feed the content machine. Take your time.

Album masters are back. Going in.
original pressing tho, not the reissue with the pony version of The Saint theme on it.
Bi Annual spin of Orbital's In Sides and never fail to marvel at what an absolutely perfect album it is.
Are you running Plex amp on the phone or just using it as a server? I think plexamp is brilliant at browsing collections. Especially album centric ones.
Perfect.
Post a banger that isn't in English.
The first 7" single I ever bought with my own pocket money.

I just double checked and Dubstar's Stars is still the greatest pop song of the 1990s.
Those operators must be seriously skilled as well.
Ok Scottish Bluesky. I just booked my first ever trip to the highlands. Sleeper to Inverness in June then car for a week. Want to be in nature, peace and beauty. nothing too strenuous. Where should we go?
Instabuy. The best doing it right now.

Paradise
Agree. Sounds like a Fluke track. I wonder if that's the association in my head with Wipeout though.
Also if anyone can recommend a good replacement for Noire I'm open to ideas.
This is a very, very good idea.
I've already had older tracks uneditable because they won't open in older unsupported Noire and Kontakt versions. Only plugin ever to experience this with. The epitome of software enshittification.
Just how good is Laura Cannell tho?
