I am incensed. This is all so heartbreaking and despicable. The Iranian people do not deserve this violence. We do not deserve this governance. The world does not deserve this. These outrages must end.

itβs even more demoralizing when the history youβre repeating is history you were around for the first time
He really is just trying to kill everyone.
Lilly!! Hello! And whatβs this babyβs name?
So sorry, friend. May they find an answer now that theyβre obligated to do what you needed them to do before ππ«
Oh, Mattilda! Sending you as much ease and comfort in your recovery as possible π
Mother is a verb as well as a noun, so I hope everyone can honor whatever mothers them and whatever capacity to mother they have, or the equivalent in whatever gender language works for them.

I share this because though Iβm not in Seattle, these are favored tactics in my book! Iβm cheering from afar!
this administration is so clearly trying to decrease/shut off access to art and increase access to propaganda

By the way this isn't an obscure act; it was the one used to justify the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII, the one never overturned by the Supreme Court or US District Court, even when Fred Korematsu's case was appealed in the 1980s.

I wrote a letter for the Action Network letter campaign: Restore Legal Services for Unaccompanied Children

Is Kilmar Abrego Garcia alive? Because the amount of resistance to addressing his being trafficked gives the distinct impression that either he is dead or what they have done to him is so unspeakable that they cannot afford for him to be freed, seen, or spoken with.

Of all the cosmic tantrums a kid could throw, Iβd say this is a good one!
Living in my apartment feels like Iβve been given an impossible task by the gods, and if I somehow, someday complete it, I will be handsomely rewarded. The task is always just: find anything.
(Also different time periods, at least for me: G.A.T.E. was in elementary school, and AP classes were in high school)
I experienced these as different things. AP classes were a real system, with weighted grades, and a test you could take at the end to earn college credit. G.A.T.E. was for bored freaks to be taken out of our regular classes for an hour a week to imagine inventions and test our media literacy.
At my school, it was βG.A.T.E.β: Gifted and Talented Education

This is what the so-called war on βwokeβ was always about it, convincing people that what happens to the marginalized canβt happen to them. It can, it will. First, challenge citizenship by birth. Then, unconstitutionally expel citizens from their own country. βDeportβ is the incorrect word, btw.
