I went to the Algarve many times with my family over the years and I always thought that it was strikingly similar to my county, especially the climate of course!

Just because I haven't seen anyone mention any books in Irish, the entire 'Inis Seo Dom' series. They're really well written and illustrated and they help kids find out more about the world around them.

It was one of the three works I did for the Comparative Study in Leaving Cert English and was always my favourite out of the three.
