It doesnβt escape me that these are named after a woman and a teenage girl. It does not escape me that medical misogyny continues to kill.
Congrats Shirley!
just to be clear there is SO MUCH precedent for arresting a senior royal. just not any precedent where it ends well for them
it was as I vigorously lipsynched to the Lonely Islandβs βSushi Glory Holeβ while folding laundry in front of my six month old that I thought, βgosh, my daughter is getting such a unique upbringingβ.
Six (more) historians in my department have taken (been pressured into) voluntary redundancy. Since we cross teach, supervise, & tutor, politics staff now have more work to do. The solution? Pressure staff (those with the biggest caring & teaching commitments) to move onto teaching only contracts.

Iβve started putting up some videos on my public Instagram, including this series I tentatively title βStar Chamber Mad Lad of the Weekβ. This week, itβs William Stanhaweβs fairly successful avoidance of arrest in 1609. #skystorians

(Also result - Plaid win - does show that the fissuring of British politics isnβt all to the right)

Oh, brilliant!
Oh my god the cringe turned me inside out.
