You can download a scan of this issue of Famitsu on Gaming Alexandria's website: www.gamingalexandria.com/wp/magazine-...
And if you would like to read the article for yourself, Shmuplations has a translation: shmuplations.com/womenandthef...
We've been revealing some of the internal art for the forthcoming The Devils: icon-influenced renderings of the central characters by Joel Daniel Philips. The standard hardcover will have four of these in colour on the endpapers, four in black and white internally. Here's worst princess ever, Alex.
Morrigan's original appearance in DAO. I can't help but look back on this and balk at the old graphics, but at the time I was *enamoured*.
The DAI version of Morrigan - so awesome.
I remember pleading with the artists: "If we put her in the Orlais plot, can we give her a dress?! PLEASE PLEASE" It almost didn't happen.
Some of the first art we put out for Morrigan. I remember seeing this and asking "why does she look so YOUNG?" - that's when I learned how parts of the team thought she was, like, 18. The idea persisted for some time.
CHARACTERS - DAY ONE: Morrigan
Morrigan began, waaaay back, as a bit of Morgan le Fey (hence the Dark Ritual) mixed with Delirium from Sandman. The Delirium elements subsided into more of a weird cadence of speech as my idea of Morrigan solidified - more cynical, wanting to connect but unable to. π§΅

Bluesky is officially βopenβ now (no more invites). So just a reminder to not engage with trolls and bad actors, there is no algorithm here to promote or spread them, replying to them is what puts them on everybodyβs timelines. So block and give no oxygen.

Welcome! The place has a very early Twitter days feel.
Hey, all. Julie Rehmeyer has made it easy to donate Blue Sky invite codes to folks in the disability community for whom Twitter was a crucial support. If you have extras you can drop them here: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...
Donald A. Wollheim.
Big π§΅time, kids. Gather round. Legendary SF publisher/editor Donald A. Wollheim, known mostly today as the founder of DAW Books, was born on this day in 1914.
You might not know he's the reason you're able to be a LOTR fan today.
Because in 1965, he pirated the books.
Read on.
Some pizza for everyone
Good good. Press L3 + R3 to accept.
I'm building a TweetDeck-like client for Bluesky which should help journalists gather info more quickly, please let me know if you have any ideas for features that would help journalists specifically (apart from multi-account which I'm already working on)
