Anyone surprised that a military operation that sounds like it was named by a 7th grader is a hot mess?
They're not even trying to come up with a good excuse for why we've started this war with Iran. How far we've come from the Bush era when we at least got made up lip service before the bombs dropped!
Anyone calling the administration neocons for the Venezuela and Iran actions are very misinformed. This bunch doesn’t care one bit about the liberating/propping up democracies part of the process
We very well could be living in the most consequential year of the 21st century. In many ways, 2026 is shaping up to be the most significant turning point for the global order since 1991.

Jaw dropping moment in world history. Wow …
Might be the best post I’ve seen in years
If the President can declare war on his own and no one bats an eye, what else can’t he do? Assume constitutional limits and checks and balances will be respected by the administration on this or anything else at your own peril.
Banner week for big government safe space conservatives. Ending it with a war on the Boy Scouts is quite something…

Mandated ID-based age verification is a civil liberties threat people from all walks of life should be concerned about. Online safety (especially for kids) is critical, but building device and app store identity checkpoints isn’t the solution.
A huge lobbying spending boom from Meta at the exact same time a "grassroots" organization appeared and started a nationwide push for "safety" legislation designed to make the platform liability free (and turn mobile devices into govt-mandated ID checkpoints for all). What a coincidence! 🙄
It’s all there plain as day. Lawmakers, stop falling for a corporate script disguised as a childhood safety bill. #MetaBailout #PrivacyRights #StopTracking
They are desperate for legislation that eliminates the threat of future litigation from states or users. The App Store Accountability Act bills that DCA is aggressively pushing conveniently do just that.
Second: This is a desperate play to offload liability. Meta is staring down a sea of crippling cases for wrongful death and product harm just like the one playing out right now.
First: Meta is looking for any way to scavenge phone/tablet user data after losing their tracking honeypot to "Ask App Not to Track." They need a new way to pick that lock to get your identifiable data.
Let’s be clear about what’s happening in state houses right now. This isn't a safety "movement." It’s a two-pronged retaliation and survival strategy by Meta.
Hint: You can't. Meta and DCA would be better off just openly embracing their partnership at this point - not doing so is just looking silly.
Pop quiz: See if you can tell the difference between Mark Zuckerberg’s sworn testimony in the current social media trial and the "grassroots" testimony of the Digital Childhood Alliance. reclaimthenet.org/zuckerberg-instagram-age-verification-trial
WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO THE LORD?!
Meta's approach to kids' safety:
*Gaslight teens exposed to harms
*Deflect any liability for their products
*Suppress whistleblowers
*Mandate ID gatekeeping of the entire app and internet ecosystem.
Just a hunch, but I don't think this recipe helps anyone else but them...
Amazing how problematic Trump’s AGs have been for him in his two terms. Achilles heel of the administration both times
