Clark is mad that his friend won't vote for him for class president even though his other friend nominated him as a joke and he hasn't even come up with a single independent idea of his own. I can't believe I'm siding with Chloe on this one, but she's right.
I actually think it's an interesting take that having mind-reading abilities would exacerbate a traumatized child's people-pleasing and slightly manipulative tendencies. (I'm on Episode 16 now.) It will never get mentioned again, of course, but I think it's a very plausible trauma response.

The whammy flower episode's title is baffling for a show that's usually so on the nose with its naming conventions. I can't figure out why they called the flower Nicodemus. The two don't seem related at all.
