Submitted my tenure file for year 1 review on Friday and then slept for the first time in weeks. I feel like a new human.

Once I accepted this framing — that I am being trained to accept the disposability of my fellow humans & the Earth (so many things qualify: Gaza, prisons, homelessness, pipelines), I became so much clearer about my politics.

So the Department of Education opened up its anti-DEI portal so people can narc on educators. It would be a shame if it got flooded with inaccurate reports, wouldn't it?
