A much better session for the duo, Oscar finishing in P1 too!!
Lando spent time in the garage, so overall got less laps in, but seemed more content than FP1. Oscar was also much happier this session!

Very odd session over all - Lando didn't many laps in and spent it in the garage by the second half. Both having issues, but debriefs underway. FP2 next!

Lando is fully in the garage for this session, his car is up on the stands and being looked into. Oscar still experiencing something off, so has been told to do one more lap and box.
Certainly an odd session, to be expected with all the changes.

Oscar pitted and already out again, he's on used mediums. Currently P6 with 1m21.955s.

Lando leaves the garage, but has to box again due to the gearshifts feeling off.
The team is running and experimenting with new set ups - probably going to have a lot of this trial and error with the new regulations.

Oscar started slow on the track and got going. VSC due to LIN pulled over, but Oscar still isn't happy with engine.

Lando did get out eventually and he got 47 laps in during the end of the afternoon session. He finished P2, best time was 1m32.871s.
The car seemed to be driving okay after the cooling issue was fixed!

Annnnd right as I post is obviously when Lando gets sent out. He's hitting the track with less than two hours of run time!

The car is coming back together nicely, and it doesn't look rushed here. He said they've tried to get the work done over the lunch break, and get Lando Norris out with the car. They know they can do continuous running on, and they're not monitoring the issue. Just waiting for the best time of day."
He said he saw something in data that they thought they could get to the bottom of it, take a bit of time over the lunch break, figure it out.
It looks like they have done a water-system bleed, so potentially something with the cooling system they have changed to get the car back together.
Two hours left of testing, and Lando has done 0 laps as there's been an issue in race simulation set up prep.

Oscar is now finished with preseason testing!! He did 66 laps today, finishing up P3 and a best time of 1m34.352s.
There was some issues, possibly PU or gear-box, but this could have been related to the heat and is affecting every team today, as reported by Bernie Collins.

Oscar finished up P2 this afternoon! He did 86 laps and a best time of 1m32.861s.
At the end, he stopped on track before T1, but got going again okay. Not clear what the problem was, most likely a sensor issue.

Lando finished this morning session P1! He did 72 laps and his best time was 1m33.453s on C4s.
He seemed to be experiencing tyre deg again today, but so were others. His lap times started to slow while he was doing a stint on C2 tyres - we'll see how Oscar gets on this afternoon.

Oscar finished P2 today with 70 laps in total. His best time was 1m33.469s - only 0.10s behind RUS in P1!
Again, Oscar had good pace today and kept it on track. He experienced less tyre degradation than Lando this morning.

Lando did 54 laps this morning with a best time of 1m34.052s. He finished P4 - he was doing race simulations and he spent a lot of it on hard tyres!
The car kept up to LEC for most of it and there was no major technical issues, Lando just made some mistakes which cost him time.

The testing schedule starting tomorrow is here - it'll be split every day between the two drivers. This testing will be fully broadcast!
Lando gets the morning and Oscar gets the afternoon on Wed and Thurs, it's flipped on Fri.

As always with testing, it's hard to come to any real conclusions about speed, but overall, the car has proven to be reliable. Both drivers did long race sims without any issues.
A few lockups, as expected with this track and a new car, but overall it's been a very successful week!

Oscar did 156 laps today - the highest any driver has done in a single session this entire week and almost 3x race distance!!
He finished P4 with a time of 1m34.549s. He did race simulation for majority of the afternoon.
