Three paramedics were killed and six injured in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon while recovering people wounded by earlier explosions, according to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Southern Lebanon has been under heavy Israeli bombardment, with Israel carrying out more than 160 strikes on Lebanese targets in the past 24 hours alone. Strikes have hit the coastal cities of Tyre and Sidon, including the seven-story headquarters of the Jamaa Islamiya group in Sidon.
