There are cheaper and faster solutions, that’s for sure.

As well as the unconscionable loss of life, the illegal attack on #Iran by Trump and Netanyahu has devastating consequences for the environment, with global consequences in the #ClimateCrisis.

Yes absolutely! Better to switch to a bike and a bus pass, but an EV is a better option than petrol or diesel —- better for the planet and your wallet.

I bet everyone who managed to install Solar Panels is pretty happy with that choice right now.

Tracking the giant residents of the south Taranaki Bight A blue whale research project in the South Taranaki Bight has highlighted the area’s importance to them, and helped with developing an app that tracks their movements.

“Our evidence has clearly shown there are New Zealand Aotearoa blue whales, and the South Taranaki Bight is crucial to them for feeding, breeding and raising their calves."

One of the many horrific things about the attack on Iran by Netanyahu and Trump is that the genocide that Netanyahu is inflicting on Gaza continues unabated in its shadow.

Just remembering how Luxon bought a new Tesla EV when there was a Clean Car Discount, then cancelled the policy so others couldn't do it, and is now canning the Clean Car Standards and adding a new tax to petrol.

What a guy.

The one silver lining in the upcoming oil price spike is that we might get a break from all the ute-bros roaring around town in their ridiculous Ford Rangers.

Luxon’s War on the Climate - a deliberate effort to increase emissions - Greenpeace Aotearoa The Luxon Government claims they are serious about climate change. They say they are simply taking a different approach to cutting emissions, such as using price signals rather than regulations.

And, Luxon’s lot are now going to kill the Clean Car Standard.

At a time when fuel prices are rising and emissions have to come down.

It’s a pattern and it benefits big business while the rest of us pay the price.

Countries that have adopted electric vehicles the fastest will suffer the least from oil price spikes caused by the US/Israel attack on Iran.

NZ is not one of those, thanks to Luxon’s poor leadership.

After reports of a Iranian #droneboat strike on an oil tanker off the coast of #Kuwait, we detected oil slicks near the SONANGOL NAMIBE tanker, thanks to Planet imagery. One of the many environmental impacts of the war on #Iran that we're currently tracking.

Sea levels are already a foot higher than most scientists estimate, research reveals Nearly 30 percent of the U.S. population lives along the coasts

FUCK!

This is terrifying.

Coastal sea levels are already up to a foot higher than many scientists thought, according to an alarming new assessment from the Netherlands

That places tens of millions more people in the danger zone sooner than previously thought.

Just when you think it can’t get any worse, Luxon’s lot are going to kill the Clean Car Standard.

At a time when fuel prices are rising and emissions have to come down.

Russia is the only other OECD country without these standards, it’s BONKERS.
