Confidence is all you need to make an outfit work!
I'd wear it ππ»
Now I can't unsee that π³
I'm not alone with my popcorn clothing simulation!
I have so few outfits, I need them to work π did you figure out what went wrong?
YOU'RE WELCOME π₯Ίπ₯°
Meanwhile I'll have to look up tutorials to unfuck my cloth simulation lol
Now, I have a pretty good graphic card that can handle dforce simulations (ignore whatever that cloth blob was i my original post) BUT prop fabrics and morph options are still great and save render time. I always combine with simple pictures of myself, especially for hands and expressions. βΊοΈ
I'm sure I can use this lol

And this cloak here is also something I use a lot. The information it gives me I can then adapt to folds on robes or skirts, and it comes with enough material options to get a sense for reflectivity and colors of my costume ideas.

BEHOLD my favorite purchases for DAZ of all time:
These fabrics aren't dForce, but premade props, and if you ever see drapery in my art, it's probably a combination of these and my own reference photos. No need for simulation, but I scale and proportion them - great lighting ref!
If you look REAL close you can spot a shoulder of my character model π§
I recommend it so much! Under all those layers of contemporary art clothing is a perfectly wonderful pose reference π
It usually works for me (though I use mostly very simple textile drapes and have a good graphic card) but now I'll have to look for tutorials myself, too! :) I'll let you know if I find a helpful one
Mine are usually fine but this was a Gen8 costume on a Gen9 character so I think that messed up something :,)
a clothing simulation in DAZ3D gone terribly wrong, obscuring the character model under poofy random textile blobs
go home DAZ, you're drunk
It's the last day to get the postcard print (or the larger one, via airmail!) of my Year of the Horse illustration.
I send out handwritten letters with a postcard (and sometimes a bonus sticker, like this time!) each month for Patreon. β€οΈ

Your material rendering is just * chef's kiss
These are amazing, such expressive textures! What's your fountain pen? :)
Thank you! π₯Ίπ€
Thank you! :D I always enjoy tossing textiles around until I have references for these nearly abstract shapes!
I like how it captures the aftermath of the fight, rather than that famous one moment just before! :)
Your Γowyn piece is so beautiful!
