The difference between threads on like r/manga and r/anime would make you think these were totally different series. Even on MAL, the manga's rating dropped by 0.2 after the final chapter came out, meanwhile the final season is sitting at a 8.79.

One of the most interesting examples of this to me is MHA. The manga readers hated it, I would read threads of people hating every chapter and just continuing to hate read the series. And then the anime came out and it's damn near universally loved by anime-onlies.

Today marked a new first: the first time I ever literally fell asleep while playing a video game. Won't say what it was, for now, but it won't be getting high marks, I tell ye that
