I don't even want to know anything about musicians I like. Too afraid of finding out something terrible that will ruin the music.

In that case, a decent graphic designer will be your best bet for help laying out the design and then you can take the file to a regular print shop which will be much more affordable. 🙂

Also quantity of course matters in the production method you will want to go with.

It depends on how authentic you want it to look. A graphic designer can mimic the look and print it digitally. For the most authentic, a letterpress studio could do the printing where they use photo-polymer plates and a printing press. They will also be knowledgeable about paper types.

I see so many substacks linked I want read and then feel crushed seeing AI in the masthead. I'm not reading your legal essay if you throw some desecration of studio Ghibli on there to help make your point.

A lot of gold ink is pretty terrible, partly because the grind isn't great. If you try either Cranfield's or Charbonnel, you will probably have the better results.

I see this in links to substacks which I may want to read and just refuse to follow them. It's pretty depressing to see how common it has become

IYQ 2025 The 2025 International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) recognizes 100 years since the initial development of quantum mechanics.

It may be in related to the American Physical Society and the 100 year anniversary of the discovery of quantum mechanics. There are some international events/conferences going on about it.
