Hello everyone! We are being offered a place to live now we are desperately tapping all county resources and there's a lot of people working really really hard to get us what they can because we have a baby and we're homeless. We're being offered a place to live for $875 a month with all utilities included. Our future landlord wants a deposit down on first month's rent. I know I'm asking for a lot and there is a lot of people needing a lot of help right now and there's a lot of uncertainty in this world, however I think that we can all agree that a homeless baby is not a good thing to have in this world. The fact that any landlord is willing to work with us at all for sub $1,000 is a miracle especially considering we have an eviction on record now. I'm leaving a link to my Kofi, if you can't donate please at least share with the people you know. My partner is actively searching for a job and it's only a matter of time and there's other community resources that can help us more once we actually have a place to live versus being homeless. Which is very strange if you ask me.

I have been low for far too long. I have to raise myself up, even if it is just a little bit.

Not housed, but safeish for now. Staying with a friend. Might be stable enough to get back to my spiritual and creative work for a little bit. My soul is weary, and I need to be reminded why I choose to live in the first place, especially when everything seems so bleak.

Things have been consistently getting worse for me since my child was conceived.

I need things to start getting consistently getting good or at least better. For both of our sakes. 💔

Currently I am homeless and need to maintain a minimum income in order to be able to survive. I was relying on that income before I went homeless and now it is critically necessary. I'm asking for is people to donate to match up to the $100 that I'm losing monthly. (0/100)

How is NOW the only time I found out that Affinity Designer bit the dust?! I'm on a borrowed laptop, how the HELL am I supposed to access my art?!

Things seem to be going better this time around for me being homeless the last time. I have a friend who's offering me a warm place to sleep after my hotel stay expires. The biggest thing we have to figure out is income, particularly with regards to moving into a place.

My right ear has been clogged since last night and it reaaally hurts. I hope maybe I can get something for my ear otherwise I'm in for a bad time.

If you have had the good fortune of having family members support you in a tight spot then you're probably cisgender and good for you if you have that but you fail to realize that the moment someone is trans that they pretty much lose that instantly every time. Exceptions are exceptions not rules.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate all the support that I I'm giving so far but that's the same time so as long as someone support system consisted one entity or one person or their family and they are queer and trans then it's not enough.

What kind of horrible world would let a baby go homeless? The same kind of world that believes it would be better to separate families and to put people in carceration camps, I suppose.

That's easy for people to turn away when it's a cis man or when it's a trans woman because to a lot of people those individuals are the same. But the moment it's a cis woman things get a little bit easier. If you have an infant the whole system breaks because it's not designed for babies.

I asked local charities in organizations "who has resources for the homeless?", they all point at each other but not at themselves. Nobody wants to take actual responsibility because the problem is hard&expensive. Especially not individual people who feel it's not their responsibility when it is.

I could probably write a book about all the horrible shit that homeless people have to deal with because nobody wants to take responsibility. I mean this metaphorically: no one's going to read a damn book about it. We can hardly get people to pay attention in the moment on social media.

I am officially homeless. Right now it's me, my partner Harmony, and my 3 month year old child Raymira. It is currently very cold in Wisconsin. It is lethally cold in fact. Right now my brother and mother are able to spot me for a weeks worth of hotel stays. A local charity was able to give me 3 days in a hotel and two nights. We just showed up and as a result we are currently it a large gap for the resources that are available here and our residency status... Though even despite this it is still more than what was offered in North Carolina. We are going to need money for hotel rooms until my partner Harmony can find work. We're also going to need money for applications for housing we're going to need money for gas still need money for my phone. We need a lot of help. We aren't idle people, we move and work hard. But we can't help ourselves unless we get help getting the things we need to be able to work. We can't 'pull ourselves up by our bootstraps' if we can't even afford the boots. I will be honest. There is not a lot for us out here because we just got here, we might have to wait a couple of months before we get housing assistance. But we have a baby, and the streets are no place for a baby.
