My concern is that Australia is in so deep with the US that a change of ❤️ is not an option. That’s the problem. Aus knew it COULD happen. Those defence personnel should never have been in that position. We are acquiescing to a country committing war crimes under this POTUS often and with impunity.

In my initial reaction, while ridiculing Wong's absurd statements, I also noted that it was highly unlikely that she was telling the truth about having no intelligence about the strikes, or being uninvolved in them, as a member of the Five Eyes alliance, and knowing as we all do about Pine Gap. In the past two days, we have heard the following: • Australia did in fact have a role in providing intelligence to America and Israel. • Two American P-8 Poseidon planes arrived at Perth's RAAF Base Pearce on Monday afternoon and one military source claimed the arrival of the aircraft was "unexpected". Australian and US officials refused to comment on the presence of the P-8s which are primarily used for reconnaissance but can also fire torpedoes or harpoon anti-ship missiles. • PM Albanese says we have deployed "military assets" to the region • Three Australian sailors were aboard a nuclear-powered US submarine when it torpedoed - and sank - an Iranian warship off the coast of Sri Lanka yesterday, killing over 80 people on board.

I’m aware that it’s a lot, but the speed of news at the moment is such that it’s important to slow down and lay out the various pieces so the full picture can emerge. And when you do, you realise the degree of bullshit we’re being fed by a craven and frankly evil elites in politics and the media.

There are no ‘spare’ crew on a submarine. Everyone works in watches, as part of the overall machine. At ‘action stations’, by default, all crew are involved. A firing evolution is an action stations event.
