Stout Pups

Does anybody have any good recommendations for supplies for traditionally drawing/inking a comic? Paper type? Ink brands? Etc.

POV: I’m trying to learn blender so I can make a 3d otter.

This book is SUPER helpful for any comic artists out there. Panel composition, importance and uses of contrast, it’s all here!

It gets my seal of approval even though I’m an otter. Is that cultural appropriation?

Do you have a special object or trinket you need to have with you when making art?

I have a special journal that I use for writing only art stuff. My ocd won’t let me write it anywhere else or my brain’ll burst into flames and goblins will eat my soul.

Is that circuitry like, overlayed in there or was that hand drawn. Looks sick either way! Would like to try out that technique eventually.

Contentment is a weird thing. If I knew my art would never be seen would I still make it?

Am I content in myself so that even if I’m not recognized would I still be me?

I hope so. The river flows where it will and maybe someone’ll see me floating by. Maybe not. But I’m still just float in’ by.

Depression, anxiety, and a full work schedule makes art making hard for me. And I’m sure it does for a lot of you out there. But if you can, even a single sketch can bring some light into your day. Hope you have a better day ahead!
