Yes the game requires a mindset shift, yes the game requires strategic and tactical thought, yes the game expects you to meet it on its terms in that way, Marathon reminds me a lot of classic Looking Glass games like Thief or System Shock

Yes, same, but I was blown away by how much I enjoyed the beta for Marathon. As a lover of stealth games, and very much not a multiplayer guy, the tension, exploration, and satisfaction was incredible.
My wife and I had many thoughtful, honest conversations about what we wanted. We included our therapists. We met someone who felt the same way and had the same conversations with them. We talk abd check in with each other all the time. We are, the 3 of us, extremely fulfilled and happy.
