Missy passed away peacefully at home. She was wrapped in her favorite fur blanket while I sang lullabies to her (her favorite). My heart is forever broken. She was one of a kind and I love her with every fiber of my being.

Today we are soaking up the sun

Missy has a vet appointment first thing in the morning. Her kidney values are still high and that seems to be making her not hungry. She did finally eat some broths and a little canned food. Hoping tomorrow is a better day for her. She's happily purring in her furry bed 🩷

Missy isn't doing as well today. My focus will be on here for the foreseeable future. I'll update when I can. 😭😭😭

The San Gabriel has flooded and the Georgetown Animal Shelter has been evacuated to the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. They need people to drop by and pick up animals to foster for a couple of days.

Gilbert the dog was honored at the funeral of Melissa and Mark Hortman today. 💔💔💔
