1st presidency - withdraws US from Iran nuclear deal; reinstates sanctions; Iran says “fuck it then.”
2nd presidency - bombs Iran for saying “fuck it then.”

This. My 8th grader even pointed this out.
Surprised more folks aren't pointing out that either Netanyahu deliberately started a war he *literally didn't have the resources to finish* and just *wished on a star* that Trump would bail him out or that's *fully insane* and the fact that he started the war means he already knew Trump would help
His cries of election fraud are classic narcissistic projection.
I never, ever want to hear again that women are too emotional to be leaders.

As a teacher of rhetoric, I frequently use commencement speeches in the classroom to not only analyze but uplift. Steve Jobs. Toni Morrison. David Foster Wallace. This one is so not those ones.
Macron shook one hand.
DOGE was never about savings. It was always about surveillance.
Over the weekend, we released new details—and now whistleblowers are coming forward too. What’s becoming clearer by the day: DOGE isn’t a government efficiency program. It’s a data weapon aimed at the American people.
Wow!!!!
Pause for a poem. It’s poetry month.
These aren't tariffs. They are a horse's head in the bed of (almost) every world government and business leader.
Yes, the stock market may be tanking and our national security apparatus has never been more vulnerable and we're on the verge of both economic collapse and war, but it was all worth it to keep pronouns out of email signatures.
Republicans have controlled the Supreme Court since before I’ve was born and conservatives have generally dominated the judiciary since Reagan, yet the “liberal” legal academy has been corrupting the judiciary the entire time? Delusional stuff.
They’re just mad that law exists at all.
Lolz
CRAWFORD: “Wisconsin stood up and said justice does not have a price, our courts are not for sale.”
“This is a moral moment. There’s no left or right only right or wrong.” Thank you Senator for standing up and speaking out for what is right.
That part
Passion and class personified.
My favorite Senator Cory Booker story has always been when he saved a dog in the freezing weather after he read a tweet from a reporter about it. That changed today. My man has long had heart, tho ✊🏼❤️
Yasssss he is
I changed my lessons today to give a brief history re: filibuster before students watched a bit of live feed from @booker.senate.gov then a discussion - last block we were just in time to hear him read Rose’s “The Unknown Soldier.” My students were amazed. So am I. It was beautiful. ✊🏼❤️
Agreed. I definitely used “is” instead of “should be” purposefully though. Senate floor has long been bought and sold as well and written into law with Citizen’s United. But it’s the people’s goddammit.
*speak for the people…
Damned if they do; damned if they don’t. As for me, I got fucken Tommy Tuberville and Kate Britt down here, where letters fall on idiotic ears. It’s good to hear a senator not only for the people, but also read their words.
Senate floor is the people’s floor; the press is the people’s press. This deserves coverage. Watching live in the corner of my screen. Speak on, Senator. ✊🏼
