I’ve been writing for 30 years. Earlier today, I sent @cgolden.bsky.social my latest story. He said it was one of the best things he’s ever read by me. I needed to hear that. Whether you’re a wide-eyes newbie or a jaded veteran, occasional accolades from a peer make this writer journey much easier.

A first edition hardcover copy of SKIN signe to me by author Kathe Koja. It featurews a Picasso like body with arms outstreteched in a frame, a wood grain backdrop and is held in place by raven bookends (and leaning on my Farenheit 451 bookends made from wood taken from the ruins of Ray Bradbury's house.

The title page of the book, signed to me by Kathe Koja back in 1993... it says To David, All the Best -Kathe Koja
