Two weeks ago I wrote a column about the egregious escalation in violent Toronto police corruption in one of the biggest daily newspapers in Canada. I wrote that they are bullies & the chief should be fired. I take none of that lightly. 1/3

Any car that hasn't moved in the period between the last storm ending and the next storm beginning should immediately be towed, stripped of hazardous materials, and dumped into the Atlantic Ocean to become artificial reefs like they do with old subway cars.

Popping around doing errands after work (cyclist support small biz better than car drivers- we now have this data in Toronto - look it up!). Our range and mobility is restored.
We’re baaaack! Love to see it, huge grin across my face. The majority of the bike lanes downtown are now clear, praise be. Hats off to the City’s Ops staff who were overwhelmed by the unprecedented amount of snow, but got er done.

I think we have a unique opportunity to recalibrate during this market downturn and think about the kind of housing we are delivering: homes (potentially for families) rather than units for the foreign investor market. Onwards!
