We were given a gift of a cedar sapling to plant in commemoration. I planted mine in Redwoods Park, Surrey, BC.
The area got overgrown to the point when I couldn't access it anymore.

I am an American/Canadian dual citizen.
Some politicians in Alberta CA are promoting joining the U.S., but they are in a minority.
Although many Americans ponder it, most are willing to ride out the next 3 years. We are hopeful for a political landscape change with mid-term elections this November.
