Do yourself a favour next time you see a Warhammer store; go inside. The staff are all super welcoming, non judgemental, and excited to help. They have painting stations where you can try out the paints for free. If you have a question about a product they will open and demo it for you.

Aeldari are not really my vibe but they are crying out for some Wipeout paint jobs.
Several times! In Thailand, we went to an elephant sanctuary that looks after elephants that have been rescued (usually casualties of unexploded war ordinance, or being exploited for tourists). Herds roam a large compound and you can feed them by hand!
Coincidentally, I just ordered my first 40k model kit 😌

The First Law series is very good. It's got some great characters, and twists a lot of familiar Tolkien-esque tropes in ways which are fun and refreshing.
