Why I do what I do: despite having a shitty day - courtesy of slipping on the steps of comcrete stairs - I was deeply touched by an email from a former student to thank me for the impact I had on them. That email means more to me than my H-index ever will. #AcademicSky
Great suggestion but that’s where snag is: we are using HE methods from medicine in VET in aicraft engineering where this is new. Most field journals (aircraft maintenance) are us-based and have (temporarily ) suspended new submissions leaving her stuck.
