Weirdly, though, if I find an author that likes up my brain enough, I buy and read their books one after another with no pause, E.g. Angela Carter, Anne Carson, Yoko Agawa— so now I feel like the TBR pile will have a moment, or not, but whatever is meant to be is meant to be. 🤣😂
Mine is like a weird little joy pile that sits in an accessible area and pleases me every time I notice it, for the potential of future opportunity, but is immediately forgotten the moment something with more motion distracts my eye.
