I agree that it can go down that way. In this case we’re going from good seats to general admission/standing which due to our advanced age is a dealbreaker for some in our party. And it appears to be less “character-filled dive” and more “frontage road craphole.”
I know it’s not the band’s fault the venue they were booked at in Peoria has closed, but Christ the alternate place looks like a dump. I might have to skip the Mountain Goats show I was so excited for, and that sucks.
