Portland's transit agency @trimet.org is proposing to delete all service within 1/4 mile of a major medical center!

Being in Sweden/Copenhagen this summer, it seems it’s those things plus driver behavior, low speeds, really good transit/biking options, restrictions on cars in city centers, and less parking options. Lots of people crossing big streets at the same time so that helped deter bad driver behavior
