Exactly - I think for me itโs important to keep the project going, otherwise I forget about it and it loose interest.

I think Iโll try to do the same. Otherwise Iโll go crazy from starring at colored bricks, lol.
Itโs a good idea with just 5 minutes every day, to keep momentum and focus, and then some days you have more motivation and will do 5 hours or so.
You can now mute and un-mute the Music and sound effects in Bricky Madness. It was something that a lot of people requested in game jam feedback.

Thatโs very true! I never thought of it that way.
Ty!
Makes sense then ๐
That is true! Good advice ๐๐ป
Am I the only one that can loose all motivation to work on my game, when I see other peopleโs amazing art and/or game ideas?
Iโd like to _not_ get this feeling, lol.

Pretty sure it works for Linux and Windows. Not macOS.
Amazing art style!!
Hopefully ๐๐ป๐
I love these! Iโd love to learn how to build assets like these. Do you have any courses?
It has come to my attention that one of the hardest things about game dev is that you get so many ideas for new games, and all you should do is work on your game already in progress ๐
I need to stay strong and not start that side scrolling endless runner Iโve been thinking about. Right? ๐ #gamedev
I would appreciate your feedback on the Game Jam submission version of the game here: pxlguy.itch.io/bricky-madness ๐๐ป
The "Controls" menu for a game called Bricky Madness
I have slowly started to work on an update for Bricky Madness ๐น๏ธ
After a lot of feedback about the controls, I am testing out changing the controls to be keyboard-based.
Spawn with 1-4, spawns a brick at the same spot each time. Left / right arrow to move, and down to place it ๐ฎ

That art is amazing!!
NGL - I am a bit burned out from #brackeysgamejam
It was an awesome experience and the feedback has been amazing.
But also intense, and I basically donโt have the motivation right now to work on the game.
Hopefully a few days off is enough to get back. Lots of new ideas for Bricky Madness ๐๐ป๐จ๐ปโ๐ป
I like it a lot! The animations are nice.
It is not often that you see the character holding the weapons in their left hand. That is interesting :D
exciting! ill follow for more info ๐
Good luck to all the #IndieGames out there during #SteamNextFest ๐น๏ธ
Looks great!
Can 100% relate with this!
it looks so GOOD! what game is this?
Awesome! I will try out the asteroids tutorial. That seems interesting.
Got it! Thanks! Now I just need to find a project to work on in GameMaker ๐๐ป
Steam Next Fest starts today! Don't miss the demos of upcoming big titles and hidden gems!

Another lesson learned after my first Game Jam is:
- Don't bind any controls to Escape, since a Web version in fullscreen will close instead (whoops)
I'd love your feedback on my game here itch.io/jam/brackeys...

I love the art style! ๐๐ป
Wishlisted! Best of luck!
How is the Visual Code? Or, do you recommend the written code? Or would you have a combination of both?
Amazing!
Do you recommend using written code, or visual code? Both seems interesting. I am a software engineer, so written code is not an issue, I am just curious if the visual code is good?
