Since some people seem confused: Yes this is a real game! Kind of. It's just a little thing I made for fun in like 2 days in GM. It's not an animation or a ROM hack. I haven't released anything playable yet. If/when I do, I will let you guys know.

I mean, realistically, nothing would probably happen. There are tons of Pokemon fangames and AFAIK Nintendo only bothers with the like <1% of really big ones that could be seen as competing with their products. Guess we'll see 🤷

It is a playable game! The video was recorded in real time. There's not much in it yet though and I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with it. I would love to flesh it out and release it but I'm a little worried about running afoul of copyright.

Dude I've thought the same thing. Maybe an official game will never happen, but I could totally picture an indie dev going for something like that.
