Nope, The Sandman from Vertigo/DC Comics, it’s a dark fantasy series, really incredible. So imaginative and groundbreaking for its time. It’s not really a superhero comic, but it does crossover with DC comics characters a little bit.
The Sandman is what got me really into comics. Some of my faves (listed w/ writer): Gillen’s Journey into Mystery, Fraction’s Hawkeye, Rucka’s Wonder Woman, Lemire’s Green Arrow, Tom King’s Vision, Rucka’s Batwoman (Detective Comics). For classics: Ostrander’s Suicide Squad, O’Neil’s The Question
