At our #Morphology Meetings we established a keynote award to enable early career researchers to make first experience with having keynote talks. This year Paul Kalke won this prize and presented his work on the evolution of palps in #annelids at #MM#26. Congratulations!
We are amazed how many scientists working on #morphology are around in Jena at #MM26 to enjoy fruitful discussions, interesting talks and beautiful posters. It really is a blast.

We are in the middle of this year's Morphology Meeting #MM26 in Jena and are thrilled about the amazing talks of our #morphologists and the wonderful organisation and lovely care and tremendous efforts of the organisers.
At #MM26 the second morning starts with Yoko Matsumura. She presents her research on the #Morphology and #Evolution of elongated genitalia in #insects in her keynote.
#Insect legs are diverse and it is difficult to compare their workspaces across species. Benedikt Josten presented an approach to analyse their forward #kinematics and workspaces in a unified way at the #morphology sessions of #dzg2025
Copulatory structures of #diplopoda are amazingly complex and Birk Rillich presented their functional #morphology in the species Acanthopetalum carinatum at #dzg2025
