The Fog (2005) ReMarch vol 2
20 years later, it’s pretty clear how monumentally dumb 2005’s THE FOG remake is, but it’s still very fun to yell about! We’re talking defenestration, MTV’s The Grind, and pure stupidity on an all-new Kill By Kill!!

Gonna put it out there that Markwayne is infinitely dumber than Noem, but then Kristi’s doing a presser unaware that she’s been fired… so it’s still a race!!

NEW EP: SCREAM 4 (2011)
Sequel month 2026 is kicking off with a title chosen by the Patreon supporters. Let’s go to Woodsboro to dissect the second generation of Ghostface victims and speculate why so many people despise it (while it’s Harmony’s favorite).

True. That said, Vidiots was in the same boat for YEARS. When I was closer to S. Pas, I would jump at the chance to see things at the Vista, especially a magical midnight screening of ALIENS and opening night of GRINDHOUSE.

I think they’re addicted to the narrative. It just sounds so intoxicating that this guy, with this background, is saying all the things they want to hear and they cannot get past the very real possibility that he’s a plant. “He had a tee shirt!” Well, you need a lot of ANTIFA bonafides for that!

I'll keep saying this until I'm blue in the face: if you cannot stand up for the rights of the most vulnerable, I do not trust you to stand up for the rest of us.
You wanna cower and equivocate? Get out of the way.

This is a fantastic write-up of beautiful cinema palaces in Los Angeles from @theankler.com @letterboxd.social and Matthew Frank. letterboxd.com/email/crowd-...
A couple of places that weren't included that stood out to me: The Alex in Glendale and The Art in Long Beach.

I jumped on board with this immediately, but I'm really happy that all the history of this publication is being saved, preserved, and amplified for multiple generations via this project. The entire endeavor feels energized. You should check it out!

A gross things with multiple eyes and dripping fangs... its a lot to take in, frankly.
Been watching Jujutsu Kaisen with the teen, and it really doesn't get enough credit for the sheer nightmare fuel of the cursed spirits. Are they lifting liberally from Ito? Of course. But they're also putting them into motion in ways that are legit disturbing.

Jeez… this is supposed to help people. But how do I describe a truly lame looking face made of fog from the even more disappointing 2005 remake of THE FOG? It’s impossible and equally useless.
The 2000s brought a wave of horror remakes - some great, some just okay, but one of them is astonishingly terrible. This Friday on Kill By Kill, we clear the air about a movie unable to justify its existence: 2005’s THE FOG.

Here's our program for Days of Future Past. This is gonna be such a fun month of movies!
First watches of DOUBLE DRAGON and ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK for @travisnewton.bsky.social and a first watch of REAL STEEL for both of us. Plus, that versus episode is my kind of matchup.
