character in fo4 barely ever is different than character from the last playtrough, its most likely due to lack of skills and perks, also lack of the perks you can start with, its always fun to make new character in new vegas experimenting with different builds

i disliked elements of the story making my character a big deal and in a weird ways being unable to actually interact with stuff, hard to explain but aside from all dialog options leading to yes, all the builds end up the same

and its good settup for future powerf fantasy where you comeback to quarry to stop the desthclaw infestation, and also cazadors are like one of the smartest enemies in 3d fallout, it uses the body part mechanic to best, since its very strong enemy but you can beat it very easily shooting wings

also you have several warnings of danger, dialogs are there for a reason, and you have literal signs, about not going to quarry or north roud from goodsprings, and you are suggested in quest to follow the benny's way since actually you arent supposed to know where he went

i will say that new vegas cazadors and desthclaws are placed in strategic places due to devs wanting you to experience the south part of map promoting you to follow the main story quest which is in my opinion wuite good, and if youre stubborn you can go straight to new vegas through
