I understand why Putin wants to destroy America, and I can guess why Trump is helping him do it. But I'll never figure out why Congress is letting him get away with it.

These are very dangerous conversations -- saying that Europe has nothing to fear and that, in the event of an invasion of Western countries, Russia would not win, since Putin couldnβt "even" defeat Ukraine.
Translation: I will steal this election, and my lawyers will find a thin excuse to justify it.
It's no use pretending Russia can be appeased. No surrender can be forced upon Ukraine that will stop Russia waging war against the West.
