McGovern: How the hell is this America first? You guys broke your top campaign promise. Good luck with that. I hope the defense contractor money was worth it. Shame on you all. The mask is off. You're all just a bunch of pathetic Neocon Warmongers.

Yes, Trump’s Homeland Security Pick Tried to Start a Literal Fight at a Senate Hearing. But There’s So Much More. Trying to fight a hearing witness is on the list of Markwayne Mullin's wildest moments, but it might not be the top.

So whats the deal wirh Markwayne Mullin?

New from 404 Media: Proton Mail, the privacy-focused email service, gave authorities data that let the FBI unmask an anonymous 'Stop Cop City' protester. It was payment data linked to the anonymous email account. From that, FBI ID'd them, then tracked their movements www.404media.co/proton-mail-...

It is so damning of US news media that so many outlets refuse to just straight up say that Senator Tim Sheehy assaulted an activist.

He did not "help" Capitol police. They did not need his help. He wanted to assault the guy and did. He should resign.

I'm relatively dark skinned Italian and had a full beard when 9/11 happened. There were people wo made jokes about me looking like a terrorist everytime I saw them for over a decade. I was stopped "randomly" by TSA everytime I flew until at least 2010. Other people I flew with would always comment.

I also vividly remember Challenger, the Berlin Wall, OKC, Iraq 1 under elder Bush, but also Waco.

OKC happened on a day we didn't have school, maybe it was Patriots day? I was in 7th grade i think? and I was home alone watching it on TV all day. Kinda wild to spend a day like that.

I'm an elder millennial, we still did duck and cover drills when I was in elementary school. I was a sophomore in college on 9/11. I had many friends in NYC when it happened. Some friends from HS lost older siblings and there were people from my hometown on the planes. I went to DC to protest Iraq.

I don't think they're flock cameras, they're Tufts' parking enforcement:

going through this with my mom now. she just had a medical episode, but refuses to/can’t not drive. delivery helps, but without a car, people outside of boston are essentially… trapped, and the infrequency of transit means only being able to do a fraction of what’s possible in a day by car

The updated total of children killed is 57.

Anyone thinking that US-Israel massacres of Iranian people will "liberate" anything but markets & resources must contend with the reality that they are cheerleaders for the world's villains. No war with Iran.

So let’s think about this.

A private company refused - on principle - to yield to the government’s demands.

The government then cancelled its contracts with the company and has set about destroying it

27.02.2026 23:55 πŸ‘ 4932 πŸ” 1567 πŸ’¬ 233 πŸ“Œ 88

So do the companies affected by this get to just cancel their contracts? That can't possibly be the outcome? So the suppliers have to just eat that cost?

300 people! The whole-ass legislature overrode a veto and implemented a law to punish 300 people! 300 people who had previously followed the law. Kansas needs to get its shit together.

Yeah I think the only thing different would be official recognition that the plates they already have aren't supposed to get tickets.

But I bet if we had real FOIA we'd see they never do anyway.

In Massachusetts the legislature would create a new plate for themselves and exempt it from speeding tickets unless they were going 15mph over as long as they were on "official business" (Which would be defined to mean driving for any reason.)

I can choose between parking in my building for $100/mo (a huge discount), a fully reimbursed T pass, or $55 of taxed addl' monthly pay for bike costs. The $55 works out to less than $20 per paycheck.
